Sandoz Farm

About Sandoz Farms

Since 1880, Sandoz Farm has been a cornerstone of The Dalles community, providing local food options for generations. As a family-run business, we take pride in maintaining the same commitment to quality and community that has guided us for over 140 years.

Today, our farm focuses on raising premium USDA beef and pork, cultivating expanded cherry orchards with new and flavorful varieties, and tending to our growing vegetable gardens. Each family member contributes their unique expertise, making the farm a thriving enterprise.

Our Commitment to Quality

At Sandoz Farm, we believe in natural farming practices. Our meats are produced without added hormones or antibiotics, and we use only natural feed. The hay for our livestock is grown right here on the farm, while our cattle graze on both range ground and irrigated pasture. Our vegetables are grown naturally, and our cherries are cultivated following county regulations for pest control.

A Century of Stewardship

Our love for this land has fueled an adventure spanning more than 100 years. Throughout generations, our focus has remained unchanged: bringing fresh, healthy, good-for-you food to our community.

We invite you to take a drive out Mill Creek Road, especially during spring and summer, to visit our Farm Stand. While selecting fresh vegetables, fruit, or the perfect cut of meat for dinner, you’ll likely hear a great story from one of our family members that will bring a smile to your face.

The journey to our farm rewards visitors with one of Oregon’s most beautiful sights—the majestic Mt. Hood. Each season offers a breathtaking, magical view that makes the short drive well worth it.
